The Unfair Advantage: Yield & Quality High PEs

FNArena Talks | May 14 2018

Arrow Securities' Christopher Hall and FNArena Editor Rudi Filapek-Vandyck explore how the impact of higher interest rates on yield stocks and whether Higher PE stocks are due for a fall.

The latest episode of The Unfair Advantage consists of two independent conversations. One zooms in on yield stocks and yield investing in the Australian share market; and a second broadcast looks at cheaply priced 'value' stocks versus premium priced high quality stocks.

The general view has been that the latter are best avoided in an environment of rising bond yields, but the FNArena Editor observes the opposite has happened in the share market to date; he also explains why.

Individual stocks that featured during conversations include CSL ((CSL)), Cochlear ((COH)), Lend Lease ((LLC)), Transurban ((TCL)), and Macquarie Group ((MQG)).

Each broadcast takes up less than 15 minutes.
