FNArena has, in cooperation with Christopher Hall from Arrow Securities and BRRMedia, started up a new online initiative; The Unfair Advantage.

The aim is to provide Australian investors with a source of quality insights about investing in the Australian share market, and possibly beyond, with a little bit of light hearted humour on the side.

The first two broadcasts, of about 15 minutes duration each, are now available on the website. Number one explains how looking at the share market's performance through a lens of high growth versus low growth companies leads to many answers investors have been searching for.

Broadcast number two tells the story of how a top down risk approach has kept FNArena's All-Weather Model Portfolio away from investing in retailers, even when at times the likes of Accent Group ((AX1)), JB Hi-Fi ((JBH)) and Super Retail ((SUL)) looked like good value.

The portfolio still doesn't have any appetite for owners of shopping malls either.

This is a brand new initiative and we fully realise the formula will have to be fine tuned, but we nevertheless hope you enjoy the content.
