Morgans expects Meeka Metals to rebound in FY27 following a difficult 2H26 and a site visit, supported by the ongoing Andy Well underground ramp-up in 1H and first ore from Turnberry in 3Q.

The broker views the early closure of open pit mining as logical and expects improved unit economics and cash outflows, with mining costs reducing by $4m–$6m per quarter through 1H27 while production remains broadly unaffected.

Post 4Q result, forecasts are tweaked to reflect stockpiles contributing around 40%-50% of processed ore through 1H27 and increases Andy Well underground assumptions, including forecast mined grade of 3.0g/t.

The analyst sees further upside from higher stockpile grades, increased mill throughput and additional high-grade exploration success and resource conversion.

Following an analyst change, Morgans retains Buy with a $0.31 target, down from 35c.

FORECAST
Morgans forecasts a full year FY27 dividend of 0.00 cents and EPS of 3.80 cents.
Morgans forecasts a full year FY28 dividend of 0.00 cents and EPS of 6.10 cents.
