Initial public offerings have substantially outperformed the ASX200 year to date in 2017. Read all the details here.
 

Initial public offerings (IPO) conducted on the Australian stock market in the March quarter numbered 26, compared to 12 in the same period last year. The net return on those IPOs to end-March was 18.3% compared to -2.6% last year and 3.5% for the ASX200 this March quarter. Listings were dominated by the materials and consumer staples sectors.

The biggest price movers since listing in the March quarter are gold and base metal explorer Ardea Resources ((ARL)), up 160%, plant phytochemical profiling specialist eSense Lab ((ESE)), up 140%, and manufacturer of hydroponic rotational growing systems, Roto-Gro ((RGI)), up 105%.
